SENSITIVITY.....Weakness or Strength?

Sensitivity is my strength, not weakness. It's the ability to feel, to empathize, and to connect. In a world that often values toughness and indifference, my sensitivity is my superpower. It allows me to see the beauty in the smallest details, to hear the whispers of those who feel to unheard, and to feel the pulse of the world around me. I refuse to let anyone dull my sparkle, to numb my emotions, or to silence my voice. For it's the key to my creativity, my compassion, and my connection to the world. What once held me back now propels me forward. In embracing my weaknesses, I've found a strength I never knew I had. I'll wear my weaknesses like a badge of honor, for they are the keys to my true potential. My tender heart is a deep ocean, brimming with emotions that ebb and flow like the tides. I feel the world's joys and sorrows with intense depth and my empathy knows no bounds. My capacity to love and feel is a strength, not a weakness. I am a feeling heart in a world that often numbs and dulls. My heart is a delicate petal, tender and soft to the touch. Harsh words are like piercing winds that can bruise and batter, leaving me feeling fragile and worn. Remember that sensitivity is a gift, a sign of a heart that beats with empathy and compassion. I try hard not to let the cruel words of others define my worth; instead, let them fuel my determination to spread kindness and gentleness. My heart is a canvas of creativity and dreams, painted with vibrant colors and delicate brushstrokes. Criticism can feel like a sharp knife, cutting through the tender layers of my soul, leaving scars that ache and linger. People need to understand that we all are perfectly imperfect and that's perfectly alright. My eyes, like two unique stars, shine with a light that is mine alone. Their asymmetry is a testament to the beauty of imperfection, a reminder that perfection is a myth. The curves and lines of my face are a masterpiece of individuality, a work of art that defies the dullness of uniformity. My eyes are a window to my soul and their uniqueness is a reflection of the depth and richness within. Being an educator, my keen eye for detail and my passion for excellence make me a master at pointing out my students' mistakes. But remember, correction is not criticism; it's an opportunity for growth, a chance to learn, and a path to improvement. As I illuminate the errors, I also shine a light on the strengths, the progress, and the potential. For in the journey of learning, it's not just about finding mistakes, but about fostering confidence, creativity, and curiosity. The art of teaching is not just about pointing out mistakes but about crafting minds, nurturing hearts, and empowering future. When they say my hands are too small, I tell them that size is not a measure of strength or grace. No matter how small, my hands hold the power to craft, to heal, and to create. I have won both English and Urdu calligraphy competitions when I was only 8. My hands are a reflection of my unique capacity to make a difference in the world. I learn and earn with my small hands. Alhamdulillah! My hands may be small but they hold a giant's worth of love, compassion, and determination. They are a reminder that even the smallest of things can make a big impact. Don't make fun of my short height. My stature may be small but my dreams are towering. I may not reach the highest shelves but I can climb mountains. I may not see over the crowds, but I can see into the souls of those around me. So, don't mock my height. I may be short of height, but not short of manners. My stature may be small, but my respect for others is towering. I may not be the tallest, but I can still stand up for what's right, still offer a helping hand and still show compassion to those in need. I am an artist of my life and my canvas is precious, worthy of protection and care. I will not let criticism dull my colors or stop my brushstrokes. The curves and lines of my body are a masterpiece of Nature, a work of art that deserves to be celebrated, not critiqued. The world may try to etch its harsh judgments upon my skin and body parts but my worth is not measured by the numbers on a scale or the shape of my silhouette. I am so much more than my physical form. Know that you are a stunning work of art, worthy of love, respect, and admiration - just as you are. The bodyshamers ignore the strength and resilience that lies within, the stories that make us who we are. Their words are a reflection of their own insecurities, their own fears and doubts. Don't let their venomous voices dictate your self-worth. You are a masterpiece, a work of art that cannot be defined by the opinions of others. Rise above their cruelty, and let your beauty shine, inside and out.
